Warner Bros and Alcon Entertainment announced since the summer of 2011 that we will have a new movie Blade Runner who will be a produced and directed by Ridley Scott. But if director was confirmed since that year that he will direct the return of this classic film, the same can not be said then about the former starring Harrison Ford.
Despite statements about improbable return of Ford as the producer Andrew Kosowe says, those from Twitch.com give us the good news that the actor is in talks to join the cast of Blade Runner 2. Kosowe mention that the new production "will be a total reinvention of the first movie" but information from the website mentioned strengthen the sequel idea.
New details about the film are expected to appear later this month, the producers said they would make an official announcement regarding its distribution. Blade Runner 2 release date is announced to be in 2014.
Slashfilm said they had recently been in a Q & A session with one of the writers of Eagle Eye. Writer said: "I and my partners from Eagle Eye, we are in the process of creation for a sequel to Blade Runner scenario. We have already contacted the original manufacturers, and we want to look like that is the direction in which we would like to take this one further. It is our vision and hope to please everyone."
