Producer Andrew Kosova revealed in the press that things are getting faster and the official announcement will be offered in one month. "I think it is a priority project for Ridley Scott, so it told me too. Already moving forward and I hope to start working soon."
Kosova added: "Somewhere during the first two months of 2012 will make an official announcement, we'll give the name of the writer and if will be a prequel or a sequel."
As announced with some months ago, is ruled out return of Harrison Ford, who starred in the original Blade Runner 1982, directed by Ridley Scott.
At this time movie is titled in IMdb as Untitled Blade Runner Project (2014) and the year for release is 2014 and not 2012 like the source says. It seems that there will be fresh news soon.
